Ringfeder TNT 2425 Safety Coupling

Highest safety for extreme requirements: Our mechanical safety couplings of the RINGFEDER^® TNT series – previously TSCHAN TNT – are specially designed for overload protection in the heavy-duty industry. If a pre-defined torque limit value is exceeded, the coupling halves and thus the input and output sides are separated quickly and reliably. The couplings operate according to the proven ball catch principle. Typical areas of application are, in particular, building and construction machinery, e.g. excavators, crushers, shredders and grading and tunnel boring machines, as well as rolling mills and steel plants, turbines and industrial conveyor systems. At the heart of the RINGFEDER^® TNT safety couplings are the standardized, specially developed switching units, of which up to twelve are located around the circumference of the coupling. This ensures extraordinary flexibility regarding disengagement torque as well as coupling size and design. The clutches of the TNT series also convince by effective compensation of shaft misalignment, easy installation and handling as well as absolute freedom from backlash.
