The ATEX Solenoid Controlled Key Switch is for use in areas where explosive, flammable gases or dust particles may be present.
Direct drive operation.The standard sequence is:Power to unit OFF: Key Trapped
Power to unit ON: Solenoid energised, key released
Where the key is removed this isolates power by opening safety circuits.
