Principle of Operation
The sensor uses a motor to rotate the paddle. The paddle rotates without material covering it. With material covering the paddle, the paddle stops rotating, which causes the motor itself to rotate. This motor rotation switches the microswitch to start/stop the motor or to give a signal output.
