Kendrion was able to make it a bit safer by adding a pivot solenoid actuator with 3mm of stroke and a response time of 3 milliseconds. This was designed to fit into a seatbelt pretensioner inside of our partner’s existing assembly. The main purpose was to keep drivers of these large vehicles in their seat when taking on uneven terrain.
